8 people attended the working party on Peover Eye today 19th Nov. We managed to carry the timber for the second bridge down to the bottom of Amsterdam Covert and install across the small stream. The stream runs off the field and has cut a deep channel into the river. We also started the construction of a leaky dam to slow the flow of water and allow sediment to settle above the dam.
At the bridge that was completed earlier this year we have started constuction of a trench to divert the water away from the slope and next week will start constructing some steps down to the bridge.
